Sol Xochitl Is A Mexican
Xochitl was born in the winter of 1975/76, reportedly in Mexico to Mexican parents. Her ex-boxer boyfriend has occasionally referred to her as Mexican.
Beyond these details, there is limited information available about Tyson’s ex-girlfriend, particularly regarding her life before encountering the legendary boxer. She remains one of the least-mentioned former relatives of a celebrity.
At A Strip Club, Xochitl Met Mike Tyson
Tyson discloses that he encountered Sol at a strip club in Phoenix, Arizona. In his biography, Mike refers to Sol as Shelley, noting that she worked as a stripper when they first crossed paths.
Sol was dedicated to fitness, surpassing even Mike’s level of commitment. Tyson reminisces about a particular instance when he and his assistant, Darryl, were tossing around a fifteen-pound medicine ball.
Shelley enthusiastically joined the activity. Mike recounts how they threw the ball 250 times, and while he grew sore, Sol continued tossing it with Darryl.
Mike was completely bankrupt when Xochitl dated him
While Sol was dating Tyson, the latter faced a substantial debt amounting to approximately $27 million. Among this, $17 million was attributed to back taxes owed to the IRS and the English tax authorities.
The remaining $10 million was allocated for personal expenses, encompassing financial obligations to his former wife, Monica, stemming from their divorce, as well as mortgages and extensive legal fees.
Tyson expresses his overwhelming frustration with the bankruptcy process, leading him to relinquish his house. He explains how, despite having no planned fights, he continued working out and engaging in recreational activities while in a state of distress.
During this period, Tyson spent time in Phoenix with Sol. Reports from the New Yorker mention that he and his then-girlfriend, Xochitl, were having Frosted Flakes and Twizzlers for dinner.
Sol Xochitl did everything she could to keep her daughter alive.
Sol and her then-partner experienced the most devastating moment of their lives on May 26, 2009, when their daughter, Exodus, tragically passed away. The young girl was playing on a treadmill at their Arizona home when she became entangled in a cord.
Exodus lost consciousness, and her brother Miguel found her before their mother arrived. Upon discovering her daughter, Sol, who was in the midst of cleaning the house, promptly called 911.
Subsequent documents disclosed that Exodus’ mother “did everything she could when this tragic accident occurred.
Why did Xochitl vanish?
Xochitl’s name faded into obscurity following the tragic incident of her daughter’s death. Mike recounts in his book, “Undisputed Truth,” that after the loss of Exodus, she struggled to care for her surviving child, Miguel.
Though the undeniable grief over the death of her four-year-old daughter persists, the intensity of the pain may have lessened over time.
Currently, Xochitl is merely a name that was once linked to a widely discussed personality but has since been overshadowed and forgotten.
