He swiftly drove to a relative’s house, where he called 911. Despite prompt arrival at the hospital, she was pronounced dead. Robert Edward Maxfield was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in jail. However, he was released after serving 12 years in 2018 based on his “good conduct.”
