Jeff Wittek and Cierra Ramirez were married for three years.
Wittek and Ramirez first crossed paths at a Los Angeles nightclub in early 2015. Their connection was immediate, and by February of that year, they had made their relationship public on Instagram. Wittek shared a photo of himself holding Ramirez, captioned with:
“Vegas flew by… But, from what I recall, I believe I struck the jackpot.”
The former couple regularly posted lovely pictures of their romantic getaways and casual hangouts on their respective social media platforms. However, many of these posts have since been removed.
Sadly, by the end of 2018, their relationship had come to an end. Yet, in late 2020, Wittek credited his ex-girlfriend for contributing to his success, reigniting interest in their past romance.
He Gives Credit to His Ex-Girlfriend for His Success
“He’s quite easy to dislike. But, as a guy with limited talent who’s only famous because of his ex-girlfriend, I can relate to Bryce [Hall],” Wittek said when introducing the other YouTuber on his talk show, Jeff’s Barbershop.
In another conversation on Toddy Smith’s YouTube channel in 2018, Wittek revealed that his association with his ex-girlfriend Ramirez brought him considerable social media attention.
Their relationship was so intertwined with social media that they began to question whether they were truly in love or simply engaging in something convenient for both of them. Eventually, they realized that their careers wouldn’t allow for a fulfilling relationship, leading to their breakup.
His Career Took Off
During his relationship with Ramirez, Wittek’s career as an actor and social media personality began to soar. In 2016, he appeared in two YouTube short films. Then, in 2017, while attending an American Express brand event in New York City, he met Toddy Smith, a member of the Vlog Squad. They hit it off immediately, bonding over drinks despite being “drunk out of their wits” at the time.
However, things took a turn for the worse for the host of Jeff’s Barbershop. In November 2018, he met David Dobrik, another popular YouTuber, while spending time with Smith. Wittek began appearing on Dobrik’s channel frequently in 2018 and 2019, and his own talk show gained traction.
To illustrate, Wittek’s YouTube channel had less than 5,000 subscribers in November 2018, but by February 2019, that number had skyrocketed to 220,000. And as the saying goes, the rest is history.
