Diablo 4 Season 4: Which Build Is Right For You To Create?
Diablo 4 Season 4 has started on Tuesday May 14th.
And because of this, you’re probably asking yourself what class are you going to play for the new Season.
In this guide, we’re going to break down at least one solid fun reason to play each of these classes to help you make your decision. Investing more Diablo 4 Gold will greatly improve your fluency in Diablo 4. Let’s get going for Season 4.
Necromancer
Necromancer is the most obvious choice so we’re going to start with that one. You might ask why is it the most obvious choice. In Season 4,they’re buffing the way that Minions receive stats so they’re increasing the amount of stats that they inherit from the players. For this reason, I tested out Minions in PTR.
They do quite a bit of damage, so if you’ve been looking forward to Minions like blasting through and destroying everything that you see. Season 4 is going to be the closest we’ve had to a minion domination Season.
So if you’re looking forward to playing with Minions, this would be your Season to try out a Necromancer Minion build. Also, Thorns have had a little of a change this Season. Because Razorplate has been buffed to have four Affixes now instead of just one and all four of those Affixes are going to be Thorns.
Plus Diablo 4 Unique items now can have greater Affixes meaning if you get lucky and you get a Razorplate that has all four Affixes as greater Affixes you can even Masterwork that guaranteeing that every Masterwork hits a Thorn Affixes which is a ton of Thorns.
So this will row in Barbarian topic when we talk about them in just a second. But Thorns Minions might actually be something that’s viable and don’t for forget that Uniques are tradable in this Season as well, including ones that have greater Affixes.
Because of that, this is even more reason Season 4 Necromancer Minion build might just be the class for you. So we just talked about Thorns and because of that we’re going to talk about Barbarian next now.
Barbarian
Barbarian in Season 4 has multiple good builds. Barbarian has been a class that is hard to balance by the words of the Devs themselves. Because they have four weapons, one of the things that’s on my mind lot is trying to catch up other classes to Barbarian. Because barbarians have more weapons and Andariel Materials, this has been a big Thorn in our side for a very long time.
Of that they kind of have two class mechanics and everybody else just has one. Not only that but Barbs already had a really good Thorns build previously in the previous Seasons. That was clearing In-Game content.
Now because of the changes I talked about with Razorplate having all four Affixes as being Thorns. And being able to be masterworked. Thorn’s Barbarian is going to be that much stronger going into Season 4. So if you’re interested in Thorns build, there is that but also they get a new Unique that allows them to make like Whirlwinds.
Basically, Dust Devils is what they’re called. So if you think that looks interesting. Here’s some footage of that this build right here. It looks like something that could be quite fun and enjoyable. It was nerfed a little from PTR. It was very crazy. You could literally couldn’t even see the floor.
So it’s been cut down on the number of Dust Devils actually created with Double Swing but it still looks like it’s going to be quite good do quite a bit of damage and it’s predicted to be a good and fun build going into Season 4. So there are a couple pretty good builds that might sound interesting to you for barbarian.
Sorceress
Now speaking of new builds and new Diablo 4 Uniques. Sorceress in Season 4 is getting two new Uniques. It’s getting an Amulet. That’s going to make it where your Frozen Orbs have a chance at actually summoning Conjurations but not only that the conjurations themselves. When you get a lucky hit, have a chance of summoning Frozen orbs, so you have a bit of this Wombo Combo happening.
It has seen a bit of a reduction a nerf in the percentages since PTR still going to be a pretty fun build still looks really cool. If that doesn’t sound good to you also now we have the Fire bolts going through flame wall is going to split into three flame boats.
This is also down from four during PTR, but still is a new addition to a mechanic, a new Unique for this class. So if you think that sounds interesting, split into Fire Bolts.
Or if you think Conjuration sounds interesting with Frozen Orb. Both of these builds would be something new for Season 4 to try out for yourself, something to keep in mind about Sorceress.
However, if you’re planning to play Hardcore Cheat Death Flame enchantment no longer works the same way, it doesn’t react to fatal damage like it used to. Now it actually reacts to a cumulative total of 100% of your HP being removed. So it’s not a guarantee avoidance of Cheat Death, they also remove the Cheat Death Potion.
So if you’re thinking I’m going to play sorceress because I’m going to play Hardcor but I still want to cheat that mechanic that won’t work anymore. Hardcore is truly Hardcore in Season 4. So just a warning.
Druid
Let’s talk about my personal favorite and what I will be playing for Season 4, which is Druid. Now Druid gets pulverized build which helps it level fairly early. Especially, now Helltides are going to be a mass Density of Mobs pulverized build actually lets it decently pack through these minions.
I think will be decent for leveling but then it transitions very well In-Game now. So Werewolf Tornado build was good In-Game before it’s still really good In-Game but really the bottleneck for getting this Werewolf Tornado build before was Tempest Roar helmet.
But now Tempest Roar, because all Uniques can drop in Tier Ⅲ should be easier to acquire. So from Tier Ⅲ to Tier Ⅳ, you have a larger opportunity window there by time you hit 100 and you’re ready for your In-Game build to have received Tempest Roar.
So for this reason Werewolf Tornado build is maybe less annoying to get into and to transition out of pulverized which is more of your early the midgame leveling build. And I think that’s at least one reason to play it. It’s also going to be S Tier Maxroll on their Tier list guide. Check out with Maxroll do recommend their Tier list. You can check them out at Maxroll. They put Werewolf Tornado as an S Tier build, so if that’s something that you find interesting in terms of In-Game.
The new Pit, new bossing, etc. It’s S Tier for bossing as well as the Pit. So if you want to progress basically in In-Game with the new content, Werewolf Tornado build is what I’m going to be playing and it’s something to seriously consider. Because it’s going to be pretty good in Season 4.
Rogue
Season 4 got a new Unique Item called Scoundrel’s Kiss which is modefied the ability Rapid Fire. So Rapid Fire will now lob an explosive Arrow. But unlike some of the other new Uniques on the other classes since the PTR didn’t actually get nerfed, it actually got a quality of life change in fact.
So it used to in PTR on the left-hand side you see the footage here, it would cast in the direction towards the target highlighted and whatever it ran into it would explode then. But now they actually changed it where it lobs onto the target highlighted and explodes around that target.
If this looks like an interesting build to you, this would be at least one reason to try Rogue in Season 4. But also Rogue is a class that no matter what Season we point out has been a solid safe class pick. They don’t typically have builds that are only good because of insane, crazy bugs. For instance, like Druid has a bow work build that used to be an insane one that was only based upon a bug.
Even in PTR, it had another like Bower build that was based upon a bug as well that all of these got nerfed and changed. So you can play a Rogue, run a good solid class not worry about your class really being too much change. They have had changes in Seasons. But for the most part they’ve been solid all the way through the start of the game, they’re fast to play, the skills are enjoyable and they got a new addition this Season and it’s just been a safe solid pick for every single Season in the game.
Tips
Couple things to keep in mind for Season 4 in closing, not all the changes have been 100% posted, in terms of itemization or like temporary manual changes balance, etc.
So going into Season 4 with the complete rework of itemization and not having all the changes listed. There is more speculation going into Season 4 than there’s ever really been in previous Seasons. Even though we have had PTR, for that reason you could try out the same build you’ve already played and see what the changes feel like for yourself since you’ve already had that previous knowledge.
Or because it’s sort of fresh take on the game a new Season. It would be a good time to try a new build entirely and see what you think of the game now that we have such a massive rework.
Either way, the process of leveling from 1 to 100 has been shrunk significantly in this Season and Helltides is going to be a very fast way to level. So because of that, don’t feel too scared to try out multiple of these classes if you have the time.
Also Season Journey now grants full sets of aspects for builds, for instance Druid gets like pulverized set so because of this it’s easier than it ever has been to try out new builds. So if you’re between a couple of these, I listed or a couple of these reasons pick your interest, you can probably get multiple done this Season.
That’s about it. I hope these suggestions help you. Have a nice day.
